Bishop Baluku warms men against admiring married women

BY MATHIUS KAHUNGU

The Bishop of South Rwenzori Diocese has warned men against the practice of admiring married women.

Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku sounded the warning today afternoon while preaching to the congregation at St. Mark Nyabisusi Church of Uganda Parish in Maliba Archdeaconry where he had gone to confirm 18 Christians into the Anglican faith.

The Prelate observed that there were men who were still using their eyes wrongly through looking at married women and admiring them as well as seducing them into acts of infidelity.

Quoting the Biblical Book of Mathew 18:9, the Bishop revealed that it was better for someone to remove an eye that causes them to sin and throw it away, adding that it was better for them to enter life with one eye than having two and be thrown into the fire of hell.

The Man of God appealed to the couples to desist from acts that might lead them into domestic violence, encouraging them to embrace dialogue and resolve their issues peacefully.

He discouraged school going children from getting lured into sexual acts that would divert them from pursuing their educational career.
