Kasese High Court adjourns the hearing of a case of Murder against Rukoki sub county GISO

High Court sitting today at Rukoki in Kasese district has adjourned to June 23 the hearing of a case in which the Gombolola Internal Security Officer (GISO) for Rukoki Sub-county is accused of murdering his young brother.

Court presided over by the Kasese Resident Judge; Hon. Justice Lawrence Twayanze heard that while at Kasika village in Rukoki Sub-county on February 2020, Mr. Geoffrey Bwambale Kikama killed his biological brother, Augustine Masereka Kikama.

Today afternoon, the suspect who is currently on bail reappeared before court and the prosecution presented four witnesses of whom one could only understand sign language.

Following the incident, the Judge adjourned the hearing to June 23 to pave way for court to get a proper sign language interpreter.
