Kasese District Boss warns essential workers of absenteeism during Easter

BY JOACKIM KULE MUHESI

The Kasese District Chairperson has warned that all the health workers in government facilities are not supposed to break for Easter.

Mr. Eliphaz Muhindi Bukombi says whereas other civil servants have been allowed to go for the Easter celebrations, the health workers and security personnel (askaris) should remain intact at their respective places of work.

Speaking to our reporter yesterday, the District Boss threatened that he would not spare any employee in the said categories who would frustrate service delivery to the people because of Easter.

He also reminded the employees who have been allowed to break for the Easter celebrations to endeavour to report back on duty for the normal business on Tuesday nest week.

To the community members, Mr. Muhindi who wished them a happy and fruitful Easter discouraged them from over spending and alcoholism.
