Rwenzururu Leaders Visit Buganda for Consultations on Governance and Service Delivery

A delegation of leaders from the Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu has today visited the Buganda Kingdom headquarters in Mengo for discussions aimed at strengthening governance and improving service delivery to their people.

The delegation was led by the Deputy Prime Minister (Omulerembera) of Rwenzururu, Benson Kule Baritazale, who represented the Prime Minister Joseph Kule Muranga, currently on leave.

The visit was an opportunity for the two cultural institutions to share experiences on leadership, administration, and ways to enhance their service to the communities they serve.

The Speaker of the Buganda Kingdom Parliament, Patrick Luwaga Mugumbule, welcomed the Rwenzururu delegation on behalf of the Katikkiro of Buganda.

He was joined by several ministers in the Buganda Kingdom government to host their guests.

This engagement marks another step in the continued collaboration between traditional institutions in Uganda, aimed at preserving cultural heritage while addressing modern governance challenges.

Further discussions are expected to explore areas of mutual cooperation, including cultural preservation, education, and social development.
