Rev. Fr. calls for financial discipline among the people of Kasese

Rev. Fr. Anyasio Mbusa the co-coordinator at Caritas Kasese has expressed concern over the financial indiscipline that the many people have lately exhibited.

Fr Mbusa says many people have since fled their homes after they procured loans which they either genuinely fail to service or perhaps because they spent it little it on non priority areas.

Rev. Fr. Mbusa’s message highlights the importance of seeking spiritual guidance in times of financial struggle, reminding Christians that they are not alone and that God’s love and provision are available to them.

He made the remarks in his homily today at Uganda Martyrs Nyamwamba Roman Catholic church in Nyamwamba Division during a fundraiser aimed at generating substantial amounts of money to facilitate the expansion of the church.

The man of God appealed to the people to embrace financial literacy and adhere to financial discipline where they live only within their means.

Mr Neckson Thaheramboko, the political assistant to Mr. Leonard Imanishimwe who was the chief guest at the fundraising drive delivered 400,000 shs which is an equivalent of 12 bags of cement.

Mr. Valencia Tumuhairwe, the chairperson of the church construction committee the current church space doesn’t accommodate the growing number of Christians thus the need to expand it.
