The Rwenzururu King (Omusinga) Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma has appointed 12 people to the Board of Directors of Nyabaghole Development Foundation (NDF).
The appointees have been tasked to provide strategic guidance, governance and oversight to ensure the successful realization of the foundation’s vision and mission.
Nyabaghole Development Foundation is a Non Governmental Organization within Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu that is dedicated to advancing initiatives that uplift and empower people of the Rwenzori Region through cultural preservation, education and sustainable development.
In a letter dated on January 20, 2025 and signed by the Omusinga, Mr. Siira Baluku was appointed as the Chairperson and deputized by Rt. Hon. Loice Biira Bwambale.
Others on the committee are Hon. Lydia Biira as the Secretary, Hon. Yona Tumusiime Maate as the Treasurer, Fr. Peter Basaliza Mubunga, Mrs. Eseza Balyage, Dr. Catherine Promise Biira, Dr. Jean Muhindo, Dr. Naboth Bwambale, Dr. Edwin Kamalha, Dr. Chris Mayora and Her Worship Caroline K. Byakutaga as members.
According to the letter, a copy of which Messiah Radio has obtained, their appointments take immediate effect and will be a renewable term as stipulated in the governance framework of the foundation.
