Omusinga Mumbere encourages agricultural and tourism activities

The Rwenzururu King, Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma has encouraged his subjects to engage in extensive agricultural and tourism activities so that they can be able to have sustainable livelihoods.

Omusinga Mumbere made the remarks today while addressing hundreds of his subjects during his 58th coronation anniversary that was held at the Kilembe Mines Golf Course in Bulembia Division.

Omusinga told the subjects to grow coffee and cocoa among other valuable crops so that they can earn much money and live better lives.

He, however, appealed to the government to look for good market for the agricultural and tourism products in order to enhance earnings from the same.

The Rwenzururu King also advised the farmers and buyers to adopt mechanized farming methods to increase productivity while also emphasizing the need to prioritize the production of quality yields.

Omusinga used the same opportunity to commend the government of Uganda headed president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for maintaining peace and stability which are bedrock for the rest of the services including education, health and socioeconomic development.

State Minister for Gender and Culture, Hon. Peace Mutuzo applauded Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu for promoting a peaceful co-existence, unity and good neighborhood.
