A section of concerned residents from Busongora County North in Kasese district has vowed to only vote service delivery oriented leaders in the forthcoming 2026 General Elections.
They sounded the remarks today afternoon while presenting their challenges to Mr. Joneni Bwambale Bamwenda, the Executive Director of Trumpet Foundation.
Sharon Mbambu, a 32 year-old mother of three from Kabatunda – Kirabaho Town Council said the area needs leaders who prioritize service delivery to the electorate.
According to her infrastructural development like roads and provision of health services should be considered by the leaders because they are key pillars to development.
Mr. Samuel Masereka and David Bwambale argued that the roads in the entire constituency are in a sorry state, hence a need for the leaders to prioritize their construction and renovation.
Responding to their concerns, Mr. Bamwenda urged them to always elect leaders who are free from corruption for better service delivery.
