Youth reminded of the need to embrace government programs

BY OBED KULE KITHENDE

The youth in Kasese district have been reminded of the need to embrace government programmes that are aimed at eradicating poverty from households as well as addressing the challenge of unemployment.

The reminder was sounded today afternoon by Mr. Moses Bwambale, the Chairperson for the NRM Changed Youth in the Rwenzori Sub-region while addressing the press in Kasese town.

Bwambale programmes like the Youth livelihood, Parish Development Model and Emyooga among others that the youth can embrace for their economic empowerment.

Mr. Bwambale who in 2021 contested for the Kasese District L.CV seat on the NUP ticket and later defected to the ruling NRM party, appealed to the youth to make use of the Presidential Skilling Hubs which have been established in every region.

He used the same platform to warn the youth against the idea of involving themselves in demonstrations that he said negatively affect development.
