Market vendors in Kasese Municipality have applauded Kithulha Care Initiative for its ongoing program of providing solar power to the different market centers in the urban centre to aid the smooth running of their businesses.
The vendors mostly from Kanyangeya and Katonzi market centres sounded the remarks yesterday while receiving solar lights from Kithulha Care Initiative.
At Kanyangeya, the vendors hailed Mr. Francis Mugisa Kithulha, the main sponsor of Kithulha Care Initiative for the love and care he has for them, revealing that they have been getting losses during the night hours following attacks from the thieves.
At Katonzi, some leaders applauded Kithulha for initiating development projects including giving water pipes, cassava cuttings and mama kits among others to the community members.
In his remarks, Mr. Francis Mugisa Kithulha, explained that the main objective of giving out solar lights was to ensure that the vendors get enough time to carry their business operations.
He asked the leaders of the benefiting markets to guard them solar panels from thieves.
