State Minister for ICT donates a computer to UNATU, Kasese Municipality branch

The Minister of State for ICT and National Guidance has donated a brand new laptop to the leadership of UNATU, Kasese Municipality branch with a call on the responsible officers to utilize the digital device for data installation and proper accountability.   

Hon. Godfrey Baluku Kabbyanga Kime, who was represented by his Political Assistant, Mr. Enock Friday Bwambale, delivered the laptop to the UNATU Branch Executive Committee yesterday morning at the Teachers’ House in Kasese town.

In his speech that was delivered for him by his Political Assistant, Kabbyanga commended the teachers for remaining strong in observing their professional code of conduct.

On his part, Mr. Enock Friday Bwambale, urged the teachers to always reflect on their slogan that says, “Because we are, the Nation is,” by redirecting, guiding and speaking the truth since they are the voices of the voiceless.

Enos Bwambale Nyabutundu, the Personal Assistant for Minister Kabbyanga in-charge of Bukonzo County West, asked the UNATU branch Executive members to use the donation for the office work.

Mr. Joshua Bwambale, the Kasese Municipality UNATU branch Chairperson and Mr. Sam Bwambale, the UNATU Chairperson for Kasese Main, hailed the junior Minister for his continuous support to the Teachers’ Union across the district.
