South Rwenzori Diocese has today received a number of visitors from Ireland and the United Kingdom who are part of the evangelization team in the forthcoming Great Mission organized by the diocese.

South Rwenzori Diocesan Bishop Rt Rev Nason Baluku while receiving the guests at his home urged them to preach the word of God and touch souls of all people irrespective of their religious affiliations.

Bishop Baluku urged all the people of Kasese to receive the evangelists as they share the goodness of Jesus Christ.

The prelate revealed that the evangelists will go across all the parishes and archdeaconries within the diocese except for border archdeaconries of Mpondwe-Lhubiriha, Bwera and Kitholhu.

Rev William Musisi the Diocesan Mission Coordinator said the Mission intends to reach about 1.2 million people. He revealed that the evangelists will employ a door-to-door policy.
