Save the Youth Foundation Kasese, a Community Based Organization operating in Kasese town has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu to promote and mobilize for the Konzo Night Festival slated for October 18, 2024 at Rwenzori Square in Kasese town.
The Musical Festival which is expected to be graced by Gereson Wabuyi popularly known as “Gravity Omutujju” as the Guest Artiste and some local artistes, has been sponsored and organized by Mr. Deo Kabaka Saiza, the Chief Executive Officer of Kabaka Deo Technologies.
The Memorandum of Understanding which is a strategic alliance focusing on calling upon the Rwenzururu subjects to turn-up for the musical show on the eve of the 58th coronation anniversary of Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere Iremangoma was signed today afternoon at Virina Gardens in Kasese town.
Representing the Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Prime Minister, Joseph Kule Muranga, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Noah Nzaghale who signed on behalf of the Cultural Institution, was accompanied by the Minister of Information, Mobilization and Kingdom’s Spokesperson, Geoffrey Kanyonyi and his deputy Barbra Kabanyoro among other officials while Deo Kabaka signed on behalf of Save the Youth Foundation Kasese.
In his remarks, Rt. Hon. Noah Nzaghale, who hailed the organizers of the event, pledged that the Cultural Institution would use all her platforms to rally to mobilize the subjects to embrace the musical festival.
Mr. Deo Kabaka Saiza, the Chief Organizer and sponsor of the event said that he was committed to cooperating with the Cultural Institution in every activity that is geared towards bringing the youth together.
