Residents of Rwembyo village in Kisinga Sub-county are engulfed in grief after one of their own was found lying lifeless in his house.
The deceased has been identified as Mwambali Friday Kasumali in his early 30s, who apparently didn’t have an ailment on Friday and went about his duties until the night.
According to Mr. Simon Musanji, the deceased’s elder brother, Kasumali who used to stay alone in his house had peacefully gone home after having a social moment with his friends at Kiburara trading centre.
He, however, says when it approached past 11am on Saturday before he woke up, it raised concern among neighbors who went to his house only to find him dead.
Mr Musanji says Kasumali could have succumbed to excessive alcohol consumption since he had spent a better part of the previous evening enjoying social moments with colleagues at the trading centre.
Musanji was buried yesterday evening at his home in Rwembyo village of Kisinga sub-county. Attempts to get a comment from police were futile, however, Messiah Radio understands that police cleared the family to offer a decent send off of the deceased after visiting the scene as investigations into the matter continue.
