NUP set to create structures following the completion of amendments by the constitution Review Commision

BY MICHAEL THEMBO MUHAYIRWA

The National Unity Platform (NUP) is set to conduct the nationwide exercise meant to create structures for the party following the completion of amendments by the Constitutional Review Commission.

Mr. Charles Kimerangwe, the Kasese District NUP Spokesperson says the forthcoming exercise will see people who are on the current structures officially confirmed in their respective positions and only fill those positions that are vacant.

Kimerangwe stresses that such a decision some not annoy the new entrants into the party because they still have the chance to join the structures and serve the positions that are vacant.

He also appeals to the party supporters to disregard the information that is in circulation indicating that the exercise would leave the current structures disbanded and replaced with new ones.

Mr. Bryans Basisa, the Kasese District NUP Chairperson says they are still in the process of indentifying party flag bearers, appealing to the members who are interested to disclose their interests in time.
