NRM leaders from Kisinga commit themselves to vote for any party flag bearer

BY ZALIMON BASIGHALHA (GOOD LUCK)

NRM leaders from the greater Kisinga Sub-county, Bukonzo County East in Kasese district have committed themselves to rallying behind the people who will have been given the party flag in the forthcoming 2026 General Elections.

They committed themselves during their caucus meetings held separately in Kamahanga village for Kisinga Sub-county and Kisinga Playground for Kisinga Town Council.

Some of the leaders confessed to having been betraying the party through encouraging supporters to vote the flag bearers’ opponents following the differences and conflicts created after the primary elections.

While others confessed to have been supporting the independent but NRM leaning candidates, they realized that it could be the reason why the constituency has never been represented in parliament by the party candidate.

Bukonzo County East formerly Kasese South in the past has for long been dominated by the opposition parties mainly FDC.

John Kule Mugulu, the NRM Chairperson for Kisinga Sub-county and Henry Bwambale, the NRM Chairperson for Kisinga Town Council, who pledged total commitment to mobilizing for the party, said they were hopeful that NRM would take all the elective positions in the forthcoming 2026 General Election.

Dr. Julius Monday Bwambale Rude, the Constituency NRM Chairperson, said he decided to organize the caucus meetings as a platform for creating harmony, unity and reconciliation among the party members.
