A concerned Rwenzururu Kingdom loyalist has pledged to be donating a cow to the cultural institution every year until the end of his life on earth.
Mr. Joneni Bwambale Bamwenda, a former parliamentary hopeful for Busongora County North in Kasese district says the act is a sign of appreciation for the cultural institution that he cherishes.
Addressing the press last evening in Kasese town said revealed that he would never forget the contribution of Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu towards his education. According to him, the cultural institution offered him a bursary when he was a pursuing a diploma and a bachelor’s degree of Law at Uganda Pentecostal University, a reason why he must donate to the cultural institution as a sign of appreciation.
He appealed to whoever might have benefited from the Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Bursary Scheme to borrow a leaf from him and appreciate the cultural institution ether financially or materially.
As a Chief Executive Officer for Trumpet Foundation Limited, Mr. Bamwenda used the same platform to reveal that his organization would again extend bursaries to the learners from Busongora County North who excelled in the 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations and those who will be joining primary six and seven classes.
