The Minister of State for National Guidance has warned that security agencies will not tolerate whoever might attempt to incite violence during the forthcoming elections.

Hon. Godfrey Baluku Kabbyanga Kiime sounded the warning over the weekend while officiating at the belated 44 Tarehe Sita celebrations for Kasese district that were held at Mpondwe Muslim Primary School in Mpondwe – Lhubiriha Town Council.

Kabbyanga noted that the Chief of Defense Forces, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has already revealed that they intent to hold elections that are free from violence.

He warned politicians from both the ruling and opposition parties to play politics of peace so that they don’t fall victims of the circumstance.

The junior Minister also reaffirmed their commitment to working hard and ensuring that when President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni retires, his replacement should not be a civilian.

The Kasese Resident District Commissioner, Lt. Joe Walusimbi also vowed not allow any body to make violent actions.
