The State Minister in-charge of National Guidance, Hon. Godfrey Baluku Kabbyanga Kiime had advised the general public to prioritize the safety of their property as they celebrate Christmas.
Kabbyanga sounded the advice today while delivering his Christmas at Queens Park Hotel in Muhokya Town Council, Kasese district.
The Minister revealed that during the Christmas festivities, may people lose their property to thieves due to their alleged reluctance and over excitement.
Hon. Kabbyanga observed need for the people not to leave their homes unattended to arguing that the thieves might use the celebrations as an opportunity to break into their houses.
He called on the family heads to ensure that they celebrate Christmas in a manner that might not lead to domestic violence and family breakages.
The Minister stressed that despite receiving security threats, the community members should remain calm and vigilant, adding that the security operations are in control.
