Members of the South Rwenzori Messiah Radio Listeners’ Club urged to prioritize education

BY MICHAEL THEMBO MUHAYIRAWA

Members of the South Rwenzori Messiah Radio Listeners’ Club wherever they are have been encouraged to develop themselves through taking their children to school.

The encouragement was sounded yesterday by the Vice Chairperson for the Central Executive of the Messiah Radio Listeners’ Club while addressing the congregation at Kasenyi Church of Uganda in Muhokya Anglican Church of Uganda Parish during a function in which the members of Kilembe Brach had paid a visit to their counterparts from Kasenyi as part of their efforts to strengthen their friendship.

But during the function, Chief John Bamusede explained that this was the time for the members of Messiah Radio Listeners’ Club to embrace development through enrolling their children in schools.

Mr. Justus Masereka Isebagheni, the Secretary of the Link between the members of the Messiah Listeners’ Club and their counterparts from Kilembe Branch told the gathering that their friendship was based on the need to support one another through sharing their burdens and establishing an income generating project for the benefit of both branches.

Rev. Capt Godfrey Mulekya, the Vicar at Muhokya Anglican Church of Uganda Parish, who presided over the service, asked the members to jealously guard their friendship through putting it into actions.
