Mr. Francis Mugisa Kithulha, one of the people who have been nominated to participate in the NRM party primary elections for the Kasese Municipality parliamentary seat has officially launched his manifesto, highlighting a number of issues including addressing land wrangles and flooding of the rivers in the area.
Kithulha who today received a warm welcome from his supporters at Kisenyerezi trading center proceeded to the Rwenzori Square for the launch of the manifesto.
In his maiden address, he highlighted that the issue of land wrangles would be addressed since it is his field of operation.
He said that land conflicts needed to be understood properly so that there becomes a permanent solution for the people to live in harmony.
He also pledged that he would ensure that he boosts the education standards of the people through establishing a center for career guidance among others. Kithulha promised to work on electrification, support food security initiatives and extend water to the areas that facing water challenges.
Ms Enid Tumusiime, the NRM Vice Chairperson for Kasese Municipality and Mr. Gideon Black Masereka, the Central Division NRM Chairperson called for peace and unity among the party members especially those participating in the primaries.
Hussein Kule Mustafa, the Local Council I Chairperson for the Town Center Cell encouraged the voters maintain discipline through avoiding hate speech, adding that whoever would win the party flag would be supported by all the members.
