Traders at Kisanga (Mawa) market in Kasese Municipality want governmentto build roof shades to protect them from harsh weather.
The traders sounded the remarks yesterday during a campaign rally of Hon. Ferigo Kambale.
Steven Bwambale, a vendor in the market said the area becomes dusty and has limited space, hence hindering the flow of their businesses in the market centre.
On his part, Hon. Kambale, the NRM candidate for the parliamentary seat told the electorate that government plans to upgrade Mawa market like Kasese Main Market.
He also promised that in the next political term, he would introduce a CT Scanner and other development projects.
Yofesi Douglas Saturday Madaraka, a former candidate in the NRM Primary elections urged the voters too support President Museveni and Hon. Kambale on January 15, 2026, citing the NRM’s contributions in the development of Uganda.
