Ms Hilda Businge, the Hima Town Council L. C III Chairperson has appealed to the parents to encourage their children go for practical courses early enough as an alternative route to joining universities.
She sounded the appeal yesterday while speaking to our reporter in an exclusive interview.
According to her, many children tend to pursue some courses that are not marketable despite their high levels of education, a reason why the parents should offer career guidance sessions to their learners in time.
She also used the same platform to discourage the parents from investing their money into non profitable businesses, urging them to prioritize their children’s education. ENDS
