The Kasese Municipality NRM candidate for the parliamentary seat has officially launched a vote protection campaign aimed at curtailing his rivals from allegedly rigging the January 15 Election.
According to the official roadmap from the Electoral Commission, Ugandans will go to the polls on January 15, 2026 to elect the President, directly elected Members of Parliament and the Woman Member of Parliament.
Addressing the press during the launch today morning at Virina Gardens in Kasese Town, Hon. Ferigo Kambale revealed that his intelligence-led information had already indicated to him one of his rival candidates through his agents has started collecting voter location slips from supporters and planning to use the people to throng polling stations with pre-ticked ballot papers.
According to him, such people risk to be arrested for malpractice should they dare going ahead with their tricks.
Kambale used the same platform to discourage the voters from paying attention to any candidate who might downplay his achievements and programs, saying his role in the USMID project was key. He lashed at his opponents for doubting his ability to fulfil his pledge of bringing in a CT scanner to the electorate.
