Kasese: Expectant mothers praise Kithulha Care Initiative for her continued support

A section of residents in Kasese Municipality has praised Kithulha Care Initiative for its continued support to the expectant mothers with essential materials including birthing kits to facilitate their safe delivery.

The concerned residents made the remarks yesterday, saying that for the last three years, the organization with sponsorship from Francis Mugisa Kithulha has been donating Mama Kits to them without considering political parties that they subscribe to.

Evelyn Nziabake, a resident of Masule B in Bulembia Division who benefited from the Mama Kits today said the organization’s efforts have been key in relieving them from the burden of procuring such materials whenever they expect to give birth.

She explained that a good number of people in the area have had safe deliveries using the kits that they receive from Kithulha Care Imitative.

Margret Odita, who hails from Soroti district but resides in Kyanzuki Cell testified that she was among the beneficiaries of the birthing project. The was happy that because of such kits, there has been a transition from using the trading means of giving birth to the scientific ones.

A group of husbands who have expectant mothers told our reporter that they were no longer spending money on buying birthing kits for their expectant mothers because of the support from Kithulha Care Initiative.

Francis Mugisa Kithulha, the Sponsor for Kithulha Care Initiative who was officiating at the distribution of the mama kit, encouraged the beneficiaries to seek the attention of health workers when they reach the delivery period. According to him, the health workers have the expertise to advise them where necessary and facilitate their delivery in a professional manner.
