He encouraged the Head teachers to strengthen co-curricular activities including sports among the pupils, noting that the District Council had resolved to reward the best performers in sports as a way of promoting talents.
The Kasese District Chairperson for the Head teachers’ Association, William Muserero, asked the Head teachers to always aim at improving the welfare of their teachers so that they are motivated to delivering content to the learners for better results.
Muserero also encouraged the teachers to begin preparing for end of year assessment examinations despite being in an industrial action.
