Four people yesterday sustained minor injuries as they were moving in a convoy to receive Mr. Francis Mugisa Kithulha, one of the people seeking the NRM party flag for Kasese Municipality Parliamentary seat as he was coming from Kampala after being nominated by the party Electoral Commission.
The victims who are yet be identified had boarded motorcycles and upon reaching Rukoki cell in Nyamwamba Division heading to Kasese town from Kisenyerezi trading centre, one of the motorcycles fell down, forcing the other that was following it collide with it.
The victims were immediately rushed to Rukoki Health Centre IV for treatment as the convoy continued to Kasese town.
Our reporter can ably report that the convoy attracted more than 100 motorcycles with posters of Francis Mugisa Kithulha loaded with supporters and a good number of vehicles.
