The Bishop of South Rwenzori Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku has called for teamwork among employees at their various places of work if they are to realize development.

The Bishop sounded the encouragement yesterday while preaching to the congregation at St. John’s Maliba Church of Uganda Parish, Maliba Archdeaconry where he had gone to inaugurate Ven. Manasseh Takwenda as the area Archdeacon as well as confirming 50 Christians into the Anglican faith.

The Prelate, who was preaching under the theme, “The Power of Teamwork in the Christian Life,” explained that organizational development depends on teamwork among the workers and the ability to manage other people’s mistakes among others.

Quoting the Biblical Book of Acts 2:44, the Bishop, implored the Christians in Christ to emulate the believers in the early church who throughout their lives, were together and had everything in common.

While taking the oath of being an Archdeacon, Ven. Manasseh Takwenda pledged his allegiance to God as well as the Church Ministry.

Speaking in a jovial mood, Edreda Mbambu, the mother to Ven. Takwenda said she was happy with the Diocesan leadership for elevating his son to an Archdeacon at the age of 47.
