Christians urged to use Jesus as a weapon for success

BY ISAAC MUMBERE

Christians in South Rwenzori Diocese have been encouraged to make use of Jesus Christ as the only weapon and catalyst that can enable them succeed in their lives.

The encouragement was sounded yesterday by the outgoing Human Resource Manager at Kagando Rural Development Centre (KARUDEC), Rev. Solomon Badaaki while preaching during the organization’s Christmas Carol Service that was held at St. Luke’s Kagando Chapel.

Rev. Badaaki who has been transferred to Kinyamaseke Archdeaconry as an Archdeacon, told the congregation to desist from physical fights that might even land in prisons but instead allow Jesus Christ to fight for them as the only strongest weapon.

The Man of God discouraged the congregation from looking at the people’s past images and the way they used to behave, advising that it would be better to consider the changed ones.

Rev. Nason Mugisa, the Project Administrator at KARUDEC asked the workers to always portray the good characters of where they have been working from in a bid to have other people appreciate their works.

He observed need for the transferred men of God to coordinate and cooperate with the Christians that they will find in their new places of work as well as giving them the opportunity to express themselves.

The same function involved bidding farewell to eight workers including Mr. Robert Kule, the Head teacher at Kagando Primary School who retired from service and awarding the hardworking staff for the year 2024.
