Christians in Kasese district have been reminded to always return thanks to God as a way of building and strengthening their networks with him.
The reminder was sounded yesterday by Rev. Solomon Badaaki, the Human Resource Manager at Kagando Rural Development Centre (KARUDEC) while speaking to our reporter shortly after presiding over the thanksgiving service of Ms Jackline Kabugho Mujungu, the Inspector of Schools for Kasese Municipality.
Mujungu was returning thanks to God for blessing her to achieve the position of Inspector of Schools and making her family survive the repeated floods from River Nyamwamba.
The thanksgiving service was held at Mumbuzi Church of Uganda in Nyamwamba Archdeaconry, South Rwenzori Diocese.
Rev. Badaaki noted that for the people to strengthen their networks and relationships with God, they are ought to praise him and return thanks to him for the good things he has done in their lives.
The Man of God, who quoted the Biblical Book of Acts 8:11-17, also told the people to always be prayerful.
According to him, prayer is a direct communication to God.
During the service, at least shillings 1.7 million was collected to construct the Lay reader’s house.
