The Bukonzo East Member of Parliament, Hon. Herold Tony Muhindo has encouraged parents to always provide some scholastic materials including paying school fees early enough so that their children concentrate on their books and improve on their academic performance.
Hon. Muhindo sounded the encouragement today afternoon in an interview with Messiah Radio shortly presiding over a graduation ceremony of the Top-Class pupils at Elite Model School in Kyarumba Town Council.
He noted that the future of the children in primary schools lies in the hands of the parents, asking them to take their full responsibility of supporting them either financially or materially.
Jeferi Baluku, theSchool’s Director asked the parents to always instil good discipline in their children before sending them to school.
According to him, the saying that “Charity Begins at Home” requires the parents to join hands with the teachers in nurturing responsible citizens.
At least 36 Top-Class pupils graduated and were promoted to primary one.
