Bishop challenges Christians to minimize the time spent in attending events

BY MATHIUS KAHUNGU

The Bishop of South Rwenzori Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku has challenged Christians to minimize the time spent in attending events and embrace hard work.

The challenge was sounded yesterday while addressing the congregation that had thronged St. Andrew’s Muzahura Church of Uganda Parish in Rwesande Archdeaconry where he confirmed 42 Christians into the Anglican faith.

Bishop Baluku observed the need for making adjustments in some cultural practices and beliefs that force them spend a lot of time which would instead be used productively.

The Prelate stressed that the current economy requires hard work for the people to survive the economic hardships but not laziness and time wastage.

To the confirmands, the Bishop appealed to them to always make wises decisions as well as taking care of their lives.
