The Bishop of South Rwenzori Diocese Rt Rev Nason Baluku has urged the newly ordained priests to enrich their scope of knowledge through furthering their studies.
Bishop Baluku reiterated the value of education in ministry work adding that an enhanced education enables priests to not only correctly interprete the word of God but also general appreciate various aspects of society.
The prelate added that this will help them to develop the church much better.
The man of God also appealed to the lay faithful to support their priests financially so that they are in position to acquire decent means of transport.
He, however, noted that the diocese has already procured some motorcycles for parishes in hard to reach areas to improve their means of transport.
