The South Rwenzori Diocesan Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku has appealed to the married women to always act with humility (humbleness) as well was being submissive (obedient) to their husbands as a means of maintaining peace and harmony in their families.
The prelate sounded the appeal today afternoon while preaching to the congregation at St. Andrew’s Mirami Church of Uganda Parish in Lhubiriha Archdeaconry.
Bishop Baluku attributed the ever-escalating cases of domestic scuffles to the disobedient business women who attempt assign their domestic work to their husbands hence leading to serious misunderstandings.
The Man of God encouraged them to always exercise their rights with limits and to be obedient to their husbands despite having much more money than them.
The Church Minister also tipped the Christians to be selective in the words that they speak, arguing that the use of vulgar language hurts others coupled with bringing unrest.
The Prelate confirmed 92 Christians into the Anglican faith and enrolled two mothers in the Mothers’ Union Ministry with a call on them to remain faithful, quoting the Biblical Book of Psalms 34:11-18.
