Baluku Tumwanze declares interest to vie for the Busongora County South Parliamentary seat

Mr. Tom Baluku Tumwanze, a resident of Kanone village in Mbunga sub-county has officially declared his interest to vie for the Busongora County South Parliamentary seat in the forthcoming elections.

Mr. Baluku made the declaration last evening while addressing the press at Virina Gardens Hotel in Kasese town.

Mr. Tom Baluku Tumwanze, who said believes in the ideology of the National Resistance Movement is expected to first go through the party primary elections.

According to him, his vision to represent the constituents in parliament was to enhance education and health programs in the elective area.

He also argues that the constituency is underserved with electricity, safe and clean drinking water while most youth in the area are unemployed.

Baluku pledges to boost tourism in the area through profiling and advertising all its potentials before the floor of parliament.
