A suspected thief was today afternoon lynched by an angry mob from Kilembe Quarters in Kasese town.
Mr. James Mwiruwabo, the in-charge at Kasese Municipal Health Centre III where the body of the deceased only identified as Mumbere aged between 40 and 45 was taken by police says they were also informed that the victim was killed after stealing some home utensils.
Mr. Mwiruwabo has since called upon the members of the public who might be having any information and particulars of the deceased to come to the Health facility and pick the body from the mortuary so that it is accorded a decent burial.
He warned the youth against engaging themselves in activities that might cost their lives, urging them to involve themselves in productive works.
By press time, police had not yet issued an official statement about the incident.
