Nyabaghole rallies parents on parenting

The Rwenzururu kingdom’s Queen HRH Agnes Ithungu Asiimawe has expressed concern over the poor upbringing that many parents are subjecting their children to.

Nyabaghole Ithungu, who was yesterday speaking evening at the Intergenational Dialogue organized by Reach a hand Uganda at Rwenzori Square grounds in Kasese municipality, wondered why Kasese and the Rwenzori Sub-region in general continue to grapple with a high rate teenage pregnancies and early marriages.

She explained the need for parents to endeavor to be role models to their own children so that they always learn from them.

 She affirmed her commitment towards the fight against early marriages especially in the most affected sub counties of Maliba, Kyarumba, Munkunyu and Bwesumbu.

Hon. Florence Kabugho the Kasese district woman Member of Parliament appealed to young people who had come from various schools across the district to remain focused and work towards realizing their dreams.
