Mr. Charles Mwanga Nzaghale, the Executive Director at Kithulha Care Initiative has commended the media practitioners from different media houses in Kasese district for fulfilling their tremendous roles of informing and educating the public objectively.
Mr. Nzaghale says he is happy with the journalists in Kasese district for working towards changing the society positively through airing the current affairs and socio-economic transformation and development-oriented messages that are aimed at mindset change.
He sounded the remarks yesterday during the launch of the 2nd Edition of the Kasese Inter-media Sports Tournament, annual event that is solely sponsored by Kithulha Care Initiative.
The tournament, which brings all the five media houses in Kasese including South Rwenzori Messiah Radio, Kasese Guide Radio, UBC Ngeya F.M, Light F.M and Rwenzori T.V, was initiated last year and played at Kamaiba S.DA primary School Playground.
Mr. Godfrey Kikusa, the Organizing Committee Chairperson of the Tournament, says this year’s edition has been slated for May 01, which an International Labour at Nyakasanga Playground.
