Residents in Kasese district have been encouraged to always embrace regular diagnosis as advocated for by the Ministry of Health.
The encouragement was sounded yesterday by the acting District Health Officer, Mr. Stephen Bagonza while speaking to our reporter during the District Tarehe Sita celebrations that were held at Hima Playground in Hima Town Council.
During the celebrations, the District Health Team together with the Uganda People’s Defense Forces and Red Cross carried out several tests and according to Mr. Bagonza, the exercise ended successfully.
Bagonza courted the people to always utilize such services which are offered on a free basis.
Mr. Yorokam Bakalyaghe, the in-charge at Hima Health Centre III explained that he was happy for yesterday’s turn-up, adding that whenever they advertise for such services, people decline to turn-up.
He also applauded the UPDF medical team for cooperating with the community members and offering special health services to the people.
Donald Chemonges, the in-charge at Kavera Health Centre III called upon the local people to always seek health services from his facility, adding that it is not only meant for UPDF.
