Doreen Muhindo, a 38 year- old resident of Saluti B Cell, Kanyangeya Ward in Nyamwamba Division of Kasese Municipality who was among the beneficiaries of the 6,000 mama kits donated to the expectant mothers by Kithulha Care Initiative has given birth to triplets.
Muhindo have birth on cesarean section at Kagando Hospital in Kisinga Town Council on October and was discharged on Thursday.
Last evening, a team from Kithulha Care Initiative led by the Organization’s Administrator, Gloria Masika, visited Muhindo at her rented room in Saluti B Cell and delivered gifts to the breastfeeding mother, thanking God for the gift of triplets.
Masika who handed shillings 200,000 to the family explained that they were fulfilling their daily routine of making follow-ups on the project’s beneficiaries.
Muhindo, a mother to the triplets and wife to Necton Muhindo had earlier told the delegation from Kithulha Care Initiative that the family had to secure a loan to pay money for the medical bills.
Speaking in a jovial mood after receiving the gifts and cash from Kithulha Care Initiative, Muhindo hailed the organization for the support that she described as timely.
Augustine Bwambale Kabaliko, Muhindo’s father-in-law, who had come to check the triplets and Margret Mbambu Nyalhusunzo, the Treasurer to the L. C I Executive Committee for Saluti B commended Kithulha Care Initiative for the generosity.
