Missing man comes back home in Kasenyi, Kasese

A man from Kasenyi Fish Landing Site in Lake Katwe Sub-county, Kasese district who went missing five days ago and was suspected to have been eaten by a crocodile has resurfaced in the area, causing excitement to the residents.

It is alleged that Michael Spare Masereka who was suspected to have been eaten by a crocodile following his disappearance resurfaced this evening.

On arrival, Masereka told the jubilant residents that he had gone to stay on one of the Islands on Lake George.

Mr. Edson Bathumwa, the Chairperson for Kasenyi Trading Centre told Messiah Radio that when they waited for Masereka to return from his fishing activity but in vain, they searched for him and came across an intestine of a person.

After the incident, they were left with no option apart from taking the intestine to Masereka’s ancestral home in Kasokero village, Kyondo sub-county for burial.
