The recent performance of Kasese District in the primary leaving examinations has caused excitement among the people of Kasese district including some leaders.
Kasese became one of the best performing districts after it emerged top among districts with schools whose learners passed 100% in division one.
Now, Mr Joneni Bwambale Bamwenda, a Busongora County North Parliamentary hopeful and Dr Julius Bwambale Monday Rude, the Bukonzo County East NRM chairperson have extended their congratulatory messages to the learners and the schools for the good performance.
Bamwenda, however, told learners who did not perform well to appreciate that it is not the end of the road and should therefore get back to school and repeat the same class in the hope that they will perform better this year.
The message was also emphasised by Dr Rude who urged those who were not graded because of poor performance to repeat class and work harder to achieve better.
Dr Rude also discouraged parents in Kasese against taking their best performing children to secondary schools out of Kasese arguing that the practice has an impact on the performance of Kasese in secondary school exams.
