Public urged to always seek early medication

Authorities at Nyabugando Health IV in Bukonzo County West, Kasese District have urged the population to always seek early medical attention especially pregnant mothers who have a record of giving birth through a caesarean section.

Mr. Blazio Mumbere Kangumu, an Anesthetic Officer at the health facility says pregnant mothers with a history of delivering through a caesarian section ought to always become steadfast and rush to health facilities in time prior to their delivery and allow health workers to prepare the necessary medical and pharmaceutical supplies in time.

He added that patients who report to the health facilities late with worst conditions give hard time to the health workers to save their lives.

Dr. Henry Bwambale, a Surgeon at Nyabugando Health Center IV used the same podium to caution the population against self-medication which according to him makes some drugs resist other complications.

Rev. Simeho B. Kabaka, the Administrator at Nyabugando Health Centre IV applauded the church for supplementing government efforts to ensure effective service delivery to the population.

Meanwhile, while at St. Mathew’s Buhuhira Church of Uganda Parish in Rwesande Archdeaconry yesterday, Bishop Nason Baluku of South Rwenzori Diocese tipped the population to utilize the chance of the Diocesan health insurance scheme in order to get rid of the exorbitant medical bills.
