Lightening has struck dead one person in Buhuhira Sub-county, Busongora County North in Kasese district.
Mr. Elisha Baluku Wakibanahe, the Local I General Secretary for Ntunga village where the incident has happened identifies the deceased as Ivan Mibiri, a 72 – year – old resident in the area.
According to him, the incident happened at 4pm when the victim rushed to collect his goats from the grazing land and on arrival to his home, he was struck dead by lightening which accompanied a heavy down pour.
Mibiri becomes the second person to be struck by lightning in Kasese district
