Parents in Kasese district have been reminded to focus much on educating their children as the only way to develop the district.
The reminder was sounded on 26th FEB 2021 by the South Rwenzori Diocesan Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku while officiating at the dedication service of the senior four candidates of Kibanzanga High School and Bwesumbu Peas High School at St. Peter’s Kabatunda Archdeaconry headquarters in Kabatunda Town Council.
Bishop Baluku explained that the notion that Kasese district lagged behind in education for 100 years can be solved if all the parents embrace educating their children.
Fiona Muhindo, a senior four student at Bwesumbu Peas High School said she was happy for the kind words and blessings from the Bishop. She quickly advised her fellow students to desist from trusting in earthly desires in order to realize success.
While at Mutanywana Secondary School in Kyarumba Town Council on 23rd feb, Bishop Baluku strongly discouraged the students from engaging themselves in acts likely to lead them into early marriages.
