The territorial police in Bwera Division, Rwenzori East Policing Region in Kasese district today morning registered a serious road accident involving a pokopoko bus and a pedestrian.
The Rwenzori East Regional Police Spokesperson, SP Nelson Tumushime confirmed the incident and identified the bus as registration number UAQ 226 W, yellow in colour belonging to Pokopoko Bus transporters.
He identified the pedestrian only as a minor who was rushed to Kagando Hospital for medical attention after being struck by a bus near Saad Memorial Secondary School along the Bwera – Kasese Highway.
