The South Rwenzori Diocesan Bishop has tipped the young people to always admit the mistakes that they make and learn from them in order to grow as responsible citizens.
Bishop Nason Baluku stresses that nowadays most youth no longer accept that they are in wrong so that they utilize their mistakes as lessons.
The Prelate sounded the remarks on Tuesday while preaching to the congregation that had thronged St. Andrew’s Nyakasojo Lower Church of Uganda in Kilembe Parish, Nyamwamba Archdeaconry where he had gone to lay a foundation stone on the church building and officially open the temple.
The Bishop asked the young people to always admit their errors before they escalate and force them to land into trouble.
He advised them to always think twice before taking any action that would otherwise enable them to advance as fruitful and responsible citizens.
The Bishop also appealed to the young people to always have enough time to rest, cautioning them against the practice of over using social media especially during the night time. This, according to him, comes along with health and mental problems in the long run.
The Man of God challenged the parents to ensure good parenting and have time to talk and listen to the views of their children coupled with proper feeding.
He also advised them to jointly fight against domestic violence that has led to the downfall of many families. ENDS
