Four houses have been destroyed by a strong windstorm in Muhokya Town Council, Kasese district.
Mr. Patrick Bengahania, the former District Councilor representing the Central Division in Kasese Municipality says the incident followed a heavy downpour that befell the area.
According to him, banana plantations, beans, red pepper and livestock have also been destroyed.
A related incident has also been reported in Muhindi Parish, Nyakiyumbu sub-county with Busalya village being the most affected.
The development has been confirmed by the Sub-county Councilor representing Muhindi Parish, Mr. Johnson Bagonza Ndima.
