The Bishop of South Rwenzori Diocese has cautioned Christians against the practice of obtaining wealth through using dishonest means.
Rt. Rev. Nason Baluku sounded the caution yesterday afternoon while preaching to the congregation that had thronged St. Stephen’s Kogere Church of Uganda Parish in Kasese Archdeaconry for a confirmation service.
The Prelate disclosed that some Christians were running out of morals to an extend of seeking powers from Satan to obtain wealth, appealing to them to desist from such actions and return to God.
The man of God observed the need for the people to work hard. According to him, laziness is the source of crimes including theft.
The Bishop used the same platform to encourage the people to use the current rains to plant more cassava in an attempt to fight against food insecurity from their homes.
